Civil Engineering Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is a Civil and Environmental Engineering firm serving the Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area. CEC was founded in September of 1986. The firm offers professional planning, design and construction administration services for water treatment and wastewater treatment plants, water and sanitary sewer mains, water system hydraulic modeling, along with elevated water storage tanks, ground clear well water storage and construction administration for clients that include Municipalities and Private Developers.
CEC has successfully completed the design and construction administration on many large municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities including a 6.0 MGD Advanced Water Reclamation Facility expansion, an 18.0 MGD and a 6.0 MGD expansion to a Potable Water Production Facility (PWPF), as well as a Settled Solids facility for the PWPF. CEC has designed and administered construction for 10 wastewater treatment plants for private developers ranging in size from 0.100 MGD to 0.750 MGD. Several facilities have later been purchased by the local municipalities to serve their Service Areas.
CEC has successfully completed large diameter water main projects totaling approximately 30,000 LF of pipe up to 42-inches in diameter for a nearby municipality. CEC has performed hundreds of fire flow tests and computer water models for private developers and municipalities throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area.
