Ronald Reagan Pump Station

The 105-HP VFD Triplex Submersible Pump Station and 3,300 LF of 16-inch force main is capable of pumping 4.5 MGD. Emergency operation  is in the form of a standby, diesel-fueled self-priming pump capable of pumping the design flow rate.

The project required coordination with the Georgia Department of Transportation for 390 LF of 30-inch steel casing jack and bored under Georgia 400. In addition to local permitting, the project required a DOT GUPS permit as well as review by EPD. The Ronald Reagan Pump Station collects wastewater from approximately 12 lift stations on the eastern portion of the City’s Service Area and pumps across Georgia 400 to the City’s 8.0 MGD Adavanced Water Reclamation Facility.

All aspects of facility from Engineering Calculations through Plans and Specifications were permitted through GA-EPD. CEC provided the City of Cumming with all bidding services from the Advertisement to Bid, issue Addenda, conduct bid opening, tabulate bids through checking contractor references.
